Connecting models and knowledge
As part of the EURAD-2 project (work package HERMES ), the ModelHub concept is being developed to allow modelling tools and results to be connected and compared. The ModelHub concept is generic and suited to both process- and data-driven models. One focus of HERMES is the modelling of coupled THMC processes (Task 3). The interactive ModelHub is dedicated to benchmark-type examples (e.g. simplified model geometries). In the future, the ModelHub will also support more sophisticated applications and digital twin concepts (Kolditz et al., 2026). The ModelHub supports connected work packages, e.g. ANCHORS, and preserves the results of previous EURAD phases, e.g. GAS , DONUT , HITEC and MODATS.
The technical basis was prepared as part of the DigBen project (funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space, grant number: FZK 03G0927A-C).
